Privacy and Cookies

I, Dorian Zgraggen, try to make as privacy-friendly as possible. This site...

  • uses self-hosted analytics
  • embeds YouTube videos using
  • uses an email newsletter tool that claims to not share your data with third parties
  • uses cookies only one occasion: when using the Patreon benefits tool

Analytics uses Umami, a self-hosted and privacy-focused analytics tool, which gives insights into where visitors are from, which texture search terms are popular, and more.

The data collected using Umami is anonymized and stored in a database hosted by Supabase.

Youtube Videos

YouTube videos on are embedded using YouTube's privacy enhanced mode. You can find out more about what this means in the "Turn on privacy-enhanced mode" section on YouTube's guide on embedding videos and playlists.

Newsletter uses Buttondown as its email newsletter tool. Buttondown claims to not share your data (except with me, the user of the software).

First-party Cookies

As of right now, only uses cookies when using the Patreon benefits tool (which are used for authentication).
